Summer Vibes

For Ages 13 to 17

Summer Vibes is a free teen program at the YMCA. Hang out with new friends, go on field trips and learn life hacks. Activities include team building, painting, cars, cooking, job interview skills & more.


Who can enroll?

  • Summer Vibes is free to students entering 9th grade in the FALL and all RISING 10th, 11th and 12th graders

Is there a deadline to enroll?

  • No, but we do have capacity restrictions. Once we reach capacity, we will close registration for that location.

Teens must agree to attend weekly 3 hour sessions for the 8 session program

Teens will be invited to go on two field trips during the program. Must be active participants to attend, transportation provided.
MCA strives to ensure we are accessible to all; we have fully ADA compliant facilities and are willing to work with students that need additional support. Please note that currently we do not have the staffing structure to support students that require one-on-one support.
  • Do I get a discount on my membership if I am an active member? If a parent has a family membership or adult with child membership to receive a discount, they would need to change their membership type to individual. If they are still a family with other adults and children on the membership, then this program does not change their membership group.
  • Free membership is tied to program participation – must be active in program
  • Our program is a value added program and includes staff time, fieldtrips, and all materials provided for free.
  • Membership begins the first day of session and last through the end of summer (August 30th)
  • Teens will have access to YMCA same as members, all facility rules apply to their membership.
