We are here to help you get acquainted with our fitness centers and programs to meet your fitness goals. We offer 3 types of FREE sessions to all members:
- FREE Fitness Intro
- FREE Equipment Orientation
- FREE Personal Training Session
If you are a youth member interested in using the fitness center, complete our Teen Fitness Orientation here. The Health & Wellness Director at your branch will contact you to schedule a practical test once you’ve completed the online portion.
FREE Fitness Intro
Not sure where to start? Have a conversation with one of our wellness staff members. This 15-20 minute conversation will point you in the right direction.
During this conversation, our staff members will
- Learn more about you and why you’ve chosen the Y for your wellness
- Tell you a little bit about the vast array of programs that we offer
- Work with you to map out which of our programs is best for you
FREE Fitness Equipment Orientations
We understand that walking into a fitness center, with its many types of equipment, can be intimidating. Let us help you! During an orientation, you will learn how to use the cardiovascular and/or strength equipment in our fitness centers to increase your health and well-being. Orientations will be one-on-one or in small groups, depending on the Y center.
FREE 1st Personal Training Session
Meet one-on-one with a certified personal trainer for a free guided workout and consultation to set you up for success. During this session, you will learn more about the personal training program options available to you based on your goals and needs, as well as get a personalized workout session.
