Madeline Shaw

Coming from a gymnastics background, I help my clients build their coordination and discover new levels of strength and physical ability. Building healthy habits and body confidence is the ultimate goal of each program I design. Whether you are new to training or an experienced athlete, we will play off your strengths to tackle goals like weight loss, strength building, skill development, and functional mobility. I look forward to joining you on your fitness journey! After 12 years as a competitive gymnast, I retired from competing and coached for five years. I accepted a dance scholarship for two years before trading in my dancing shoes for cleats and barbells. I transferred to TXST and competed on the olympic weightlifting team as well as being the vice president of the Women’s Rugby Club. During my time at TXST I had the pleasure of competing in nationals for both sports as well as being invited to the USA Olympic training camp for USA Rugby. Since I was already a gym rat, I also competed and placed in regional figure and physique bodybuilding competitions. Although my days as a scholarship athlete and competitor are behind me, I still enjoy breathwork and throwing around a barbell. If you see me doing handstands, come say hi!
