Keep the Swim Skills Going This Fall with YMCA Aquatics!

Fall is here, but swim safety and confidence are important all year long! Whether you’re introducing your little one to the water, helping your child continue building important water safety skills, or looking to improve your own technique, the YMCA has a swim program for every age and ability.

Our swim lessons begin as early as 6 months old and continue through adult lessons, providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for swimmers to learn and grow. Continuing lessons throughout the school year helps swimmers maintain their skills, build confidence, and continue progressing toward their goals.

Registration is now open for swim lessons for the remainder of the year! Secure your spot and keep those swim skills growing.

Take the Next Step with YMCA Swim Team!

Ready for the next challenge after swim lessons? Our YMCA Swim Team is a great way for swimmers to improve stroke technique, build endurance, gain confidence and make new friends in a fun and encouraging team environment.

Whether your swimmer is preparing for future competition or simply loves being in the water, swim team is a great way to stay active and keep progressing throughout the school year! Sign up today!

Celebrate Their Big Day at the Y!

Grow, Connect & Give Back with the Y’s Ones Garden Club!

Calling all seniors who enjoy being outdoors, connecting with others, and giving back to the community! The Y’s Ones Garden Club, located just behind the YMCA, welcomes seniors interested in helping care for our community garden.

Garden Club members can lend a hand with planting, harvesting, garden maintenance, and regular watering. No gardening experience is needed—just a willingness to pitch in and have some fun along the way. And, of course, you may get to take home some fresh veggies!

Interested in joining the Y’s Ones Garden Club? Reach out to Paula Korzeniewski at paula.korzeniewski@austinymca.org to learn more.

Exciting Improvements Underway!

You may notice a few projects happening around the Y over the next month as we continue making improvements to our facility. We’ll be painting throughout the facility, completing work on our roof, and continuing progress on the ramp project.

We appreciate your patience as we work through these improvements! Our team will do everything possible to minimize disruptions and ensure these projects have as little impact as possible on your YMCA experience. Thank you for your patience and for being part of our Y community!
