Y Members save on Spring Break, Summer, and Holiday Camps!
YMCA Summer Camps offer children & teens, ages 4-14, a safe, exciting, and memorable day camp experience. Camps run Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6pm (except for Memorial Day and July 4th holiday weeks).
Kids have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence, and creativity, and parents have peace of mind knowing your kids are in a safe and enriching place. At YMCA day camps, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation.
Our camps are offered throughout the Greater Austin community, so whether you're in Travis, Hays, or Bastrop, we have a positive, fun, and enriching camp atmosphere close by. Don't miss out!

Summer Camp Info:
This summer, the YMCA of Austin will offer 22 camps across Travis, Hays, and Bastrop Counties including Kinder, Theme, Sports, and Adventure camps. All camps will offer swimming, field trips, games, crafts, and character development activities. Camps will operate from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm at designated schools, churches, and YMCA facilities. Campers will enjoy changing weekly themes, sports, and adventures as well as weekly field trips and twice weekly trips to the pool. Activities are based on the YMCA of Austin's character values (Respect, Responsibility, Honest, Faith, and Caring) and the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets.

Three easy ways to register: (Registration ends the Wednesday before each camp week)
1. Online Registration (opens February 11th)
*Note: Financial Assistance applicants registering online will have to pay the full $15 deposits up front but these deposits will still come out of your total FA weekly balances, so you will still pay the same amount overall. If you are an FA participant and wish to pay the FA discounted deposit amounts up front, then please use method 2.
2. By email to firstname.lastname@example.org (All enrollment forms must still be submitted)
*Note: Please read over the forms carefully and double check your forms for completion before emailing. Any incomplete forms will be placed in pending (not yet registered) and we will contact the Primary Guardian to obtain the missing information. Your child will not be registered until we receive all required information. If your child has any food allergies, please submit a Food Allergy Emergency Plan signed by your family physician to us along with your paper forms.
3. In person at Program Services; 3208 Red River Ste. 100; Austin, TX 78705
If any of the above methods absolutely will not work for you, you are welcome to mail your completed paper forms (see note under method 2 above) to Program Services; 3208 Red River Ste. 100; Austin, TX 78705. Due to the inconsistency of mailing in items and registrations being processed on a case-by-case basis, we can not guarantee space availability and registrations being processed in a timely manner if using this method.

Looking to Cancel? Add or Transfer Weeks? We understand that plans change. Please read over the following policies for cancellations and transfers very carefully.
All requests to cancel weeks of camp or to transfer weeks/locations of camp must be received by the Program Services Branch in writing by submitting the 2019 Online Cancellation Form or the 2019 Online Transfer Form. These forms will ask you to select which week(s) you would like to adjust. Requests are processed manually by a member of our administrative team. The primary parent/guardian on the registration will receive a confirmation email once the cancellation or transfer has been processed. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. Please also note that processing transfer requests is dependent on availability.
Cancellation and Transfer Requests must be submitted 12 calendar days (2 Wednesdays) or more before the camp week begins; requests that are submitted in time are processed without additional charges. After that day, such requests are considered late. Late requests, if submitted at least 5 calendar days before the start of the camp week, will be processed with an additional fee ($25 for cancellations, $10 for transfers).
Cancellation and Transfer Requests are not accepted on the Thursday or Friday before a camp week begins. No credits or refunds will be given. You will be held responsible for the full amount of camp fees, regardless of whether or not your child attends camp.
A $25 cancellation fee is charged for any cancellation due to non-payment.
After initial enrollment, no refunds or credits will be given for registration fee and camp deposit(s). These fees cover processing costs and represent your commitment to attending particular week(s) of camp.
We understand that families’ plans change throughout the summer, and we certainly want to be accommodating. However, many of our camp programs fill up and have waiting lists; the earlier any Cancellation or Transfer Requests are submitted, the more effectively we can reach out to those families who are hoping for a spot in the program. That is why we require advance notice.
Emergency Registration: An emergency registration is defined as any application submitted on the Thursday or Friday before the desired camp session. Emergency registrations are only accepted up until 10am on Friday and are dependent on availability. A $50.00 Emergency Registration fee will apply for all requests.

Financial Assistance Policy: YMCA of Austin programs and activities are designed to benefit persons of all backgrounds, and fees are based on the cost of providing each program. While participants are expected to pay their fair share, when financial assistance dollars are available, the YMCA will assist any individual or family that wants to participate but cannot afford the fee.
Financial Assistance is awarded on a first come, first served basis. Financial assistance forms will be accepted beginning Monday, February 12. Only completed applications will be accepted and reviewed. Funds are limited, and we recommend applying early.

The YMCA of Austin is proud to partner with Workforce Solutions to provide care to families. We accept CCS at the following Summer Camp sites:

If you have already received approval through Workforce and are interested in registering for Summer Camp, please complete registration forms for your desired site and dates and return the forms to our office. Be sure to check the box in the upper right hand corner of the first page indicating “Workforce/CCS”. Then, contact your caseworker to let her know you are registering for Summer Camp through the YMCA. If your registration is submitted by Friday, May 10th, we will be able to process your child’s enrollment prior to your approval being received. Your approval will need to be received by Friday, May 17th. If your registration is submitted after this date, we will need your approval letter prior to registering. We require at least one business day processing time.
Please note, all registrations are based on availability. If your desired site has reached capacity, we will place your child on a waitlist and no approval is needed till we can offer care.

Let the adventure begin!
Join YMCA Camp Moody for a summer to discover, explore, and remember. YMCA Camp Moody sits on 85 acres of pristine wilderness located along a half mile stretch of Onion Creek in Buda, Texas. The camp contains many features of the Edwards Plateau and is rural in nature.
These half day summer camps, which are designed for the mature and older school-age kid, will captivate the imagination and all your senses. This summer we will be offer five unique themes including archery, aquatic adventure, wilderness survival, and outdoor adventure.
Drop off and pick up will be at Camp Moody located at 959 Old San Antonio Rd. Buda, TX 78610. Camp hours will run from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This camp is offered by the Hays Communities YMCA (not by the Program Services YMCA). Registration and inquiries should be directed to 512-523-0099.
