Four Points YMCA

Stay Connected

Thank you for all your excitement and interest in our future YMCA at Four Points.

We have expanded the vision for the future YMCA at Four Points to be more inclusive of what the community has told us it wants. In order to achieve that vision, we extended the timeline for developing and opening the facility. As a non-profit, we depend on capital campaigns to make this happen.

What are the plan phases for the rest of the future YMCA at Four Points?

We plan to develop the future YMCA at Four Points facility in three phases.

  • Phase 1: Opening of the FIRST YMCA Tomorrow Academy™ with eight classrooms in 2025.
  • Phase 2: Development of outdoor spaces including a swimming pool, splash pad, playground, outdoor fitness, sports and family gathering spaces.
  • Phase 3: Indoor fitness center with health & wellness studios, high-intensity training, YMCA360 virtual production space, and more.

Timing for Phase 2 and 3 is 18-24 months but is dependent on community support to bring the full community vision to life.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to development@austinymca.org if you are intersted in supporting our exciting expansion into the Four Points area.

For nearly 75 years, the Greater Austin YMCA has evolved as a nonprofit to address each community’s greatest needs. From an expecting family searching for child care to seniors playing pickleball, the Y touches every phase of life and nurtures happier, healthier people, a stronger community and a better world.

This one-of-a-kind center in four points will be the culmination of research and planning that has taken place for nearly a decade. Fundraising efforts will support the renovation and redevelopment of 55,000 square feet of programmable space.
