Introducing Keelan Liggins, Membership Engagement Director

East Communities is happy to introduce our new Membership Engagement Director, Keelan Liggins. Keelin joins us from the Cordova Family YMCA in Memphis Tennessee where he served as the membership Coordinator. We could not be more excited for him to join our team.

Winter Season Youth Program Showcase

Step into the spotlight with us at our Winter Season Youth Program Showcase on March 9th from 12:00pm to 2:30pm in the East Communities YMCA Gymnasium! Enjoy performances and demonstrations from our talented gymnastics, cheering, dance, and martial arts participants. This event is free to attend, but we’ll gratefully welcome donations at the door to support our Annual Giving Campaign. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating their hard work this Winter.

Facility Updates

Outdoor Basketball Court and Kids Play Refresh

We’ve undergone significant facility transformations lately. Our latest focus is revamping our outdoor basketball court, which is currently in poor condition. To kickstart this project, we’ll remove all hoops on March 4th. Questions or feedback? Contact Rick Ramos at rick.ramos@austinymca.org.

Additionally, we’ve refreshed the Kids Play (formerly Child Watch) area with new paint and flooring. Bring your child along during your workout and check out the improved space!
