COVID-19 and My Membership

We are living through unprecedented times, and we understand that you are uncertain about how to handle your YMCA of Austin membership.

Individuals and families have a responsibility to do what is best for them and their people. We have heard you, and we understand you. In the coming weeks, the need for services for our most vulnerable populations, such as children and seniors, will increase exponentially. We ask that you consider continuing your Y membership so we can ensure that we will remain here to serve those who need us most.

Naturally, we will cancel your membership if you wish, but if you want to join us in service to others, please keep your membership active. If you do choose to cancel, we know that there will come a day when we will be able to welcome you back into one of our facilities. We are hopeful that this will be soon. Please indicate your preference in the member cancellation form.

Thank you for being a valued member of our YMCA and empowering us to strengthen communities.

We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. As the leading nonprofit committed to helping everyone thrive at each stage of life, we are uniquely positioned to take on new and long-standing challenges more comprehensively than anyone else.

Your support through the YMCA of Austin’s Annual Giving Campaign makes this possible.
