Confidence starts this fall 🌟

Build confidence, strength, and discipline with our Youth Boxing and Tae Kwon Do classes! These programs help kids develop coordination, learn new skills, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether your child is stepping into the ring for the first time or beginning their martial arts journey, there’s a place for them at the Y!

Día de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a tradition that honors loved ones who have passed away. It is not a time of sadness, but a joyful celebration. We invite you to be part of this beautiful tradition by adding to our ofrenda or alter.

You may add a photo, small memento, or note of remembrance to our YMCA ofrenda in honor of someone special to you. Our ofrenda will go up the week of October 19. Together, we celebrate their lives and the lasting impact they’ve had on our lives.

You can upload a photo and we can frame it in one of our 3×5 frames.

Facility Updates: Pool Hours

We need to extend our adjusted pool schedule into October due to continued lifeguard staffing shortages. Pool hours will remain:

Monday–Thursday: 6 a.m.–noon and 4–9 p.m.

Friday:
6 a.m.–noon

Saturday–Sunday:
Regular operating hours

Swim lessons and aqua group fitness classes will run as scheduled.

We’re sorry these reduced hours are continuing longer than anticipated. We know you count on the Y for your routine, and we recognize the impact of recent closures and schedule changes on your visits.

Our team is actively recruiting and interviewing lifeguards, with a focus on daytime availability. We’ll expand hours as soon as staffing allows and notify you as additional hours are confirmed.

Thank you for your continued patience and for being part of our North Austin Y community.
