Join us for DANCE STRONG!, an exciting, high-energy dance-a-thon where every move makes a difference! This event brings our community together to dance, have fun, and support a great cause.

Tai Chi is baaaaaack!

The stars have aligned, the wonderful Dawei Li moved to Austin from Flint, Michigan, walked into our YMCA, and BOOM! Just like that, we have two regular classes on the schedule again from an instructor with decades of experience.
Dawei has been practicing various martial arts since 88. He holds many certifications, including Tai Chi for Parkinson’s and Tai Chi Push Hands.
His approach: to truly get healthy, we must go back to the start. This class focuses heavily on proper posture, balance, awareness, and breathing. You’ll learn many techniques that you can practice anywhere, anytime!
His goal is to bring Tai Chi and Push Hands to the streets and parks, as well as board rooms of Austin!
