Summer is Here!

East Metro Park Pool Opens June 7th

East Metropolitan Park has a swimming pool that is maintained by Travis County Parks. The Greater Austin YMCA is responsible for programs and providing certified lifeguards when the pool is in operation.

Daily Admission

Children under 3 years of age……….FREE
Children ages 3 – 17…………………….$5.00
Adults 18+………………………………….$10.00

FREE Access For:

Greater Austin YMCA Members
- Greater Austin YMCA membership dues allow FREE entry to East Metro Pool.
Briarcreek Residents
- Homeowner dues include seasonal East Metro Park Pool access—show valid ID with a Briarcreek address.

Tues – Fri: 12 PM – 6 PM
Sat & Sun: 1 PM- 7 PM

Aug 9 – Sept 7 (Sat & Sun)

1 PM – 7 PM

Safe Pools Have Rules

Pool Rules

Lifeguard is in charge of the pool at all times.
Lifeguard has authority to enforce all Greater Austin YMCA policies.
Swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
Children under the age of 14 must have a parent/guardian (18+) in the pool area actively supervising all activities.
Children under the age of 14 must pass the Greater Austin YMCA Swim Test to be in the water without a parent/guardian (18+) at arms reach.
Children must pass Swim Test before using pool side and follow slide manufacturers specifications when in use.
U.S. Coast Guard-approved flotation devices only allowed in the pool.
No running, diving, dunking, pushing, horseplay, prolonged breath-holding, or inappropriate behavior of any kind.
No food, drink, or gum in the pool area.
Appropriate swimwear must be used when in the pool.

NOTE: The pool rules above may not be all inclusive. The YMCA staff reserves the right to change or limit activities to protect members or program participants. For your safety and the safety of others, please obey all verbal instructions from the YMCA Staff.
