Adaptive Fitness
At the YMCA of Austin, we believe in good health and fitness opportunities for everyone – all ages and all abilities. So we’ve designed a variety of group exercise classes for children and adults with different abilities.
Our Adaptive Fitness classes go beyond conventional fitness to suit different lifestyles and varying levels of fitness – offering a more personalized approach to our group fitness sessions with one-on-one advice, goal setting, and tailored session planning from our expert trainers.
This class provides a great workout as you move through a series of stations designed to elevate heart rate and challenge muscles.
Great low-impact cardio workout is appropriate for all fitness levels and will include coordinated music for each ride.
Class will focus on walking/jogging for cardio health and proper stretching before and after exercise.
A sequence of basic yoga poses and postures designed to tone the body and tune the mind. Class will focus on breathing and gentle stretching while listening to relaxing music.
