Sauna Update: Repair Status & Important Reminder

We sincerely apologize for the continued closure of the sauna. We know many of you rely on it for your health and recovery, and we appreciate your patience during this frustratingly long downtime.

The Current Situation

The root cause of the current outage—as has been the case in the past—is water being poured onto the heating unit. Our sauna is strictly a dry sauna, and the electrical components are not designed to handle moisture. After working with several electricians and a sauna specialist, we have ordered a specific replacement part. This part is currently on backorder, and we are waiting for its arrival to complete the repair.

A Critical Reminder

Please do not pour water on the sauna unit. Even a small amount may cause an electrical short, leading to these months-long closures.

Preventing Future Outages

To avoid another prolonged shutdown, we are:

  • Installing clearer signage to remind everyone that no water is allowed on the unit.
  • Exploring protective guards for the heater to prevent water damage.
  • Reminding our community NOT TO POUR ANY WATER ON THE UNIT

We are doing everything we can to get the sauna back up and running as quickly as possible. Thank you for helping us take care of our community equipment.
