Facility Maintenance at TownLake YMCA
Starting October 22 through approximately November 29, we’re enhancing the facility with new paint. The work will begin in the gymnasium and continue throughout the center in phases.
While subject to change, the planned painting schedule is:
- October 22-November 11: Gymnasium
- October 22-November 13: Annex (group exercise room, cycling studio, AMP, annex lobby and yoga studio)
- October 22-November 29 (Specific Dates TBD): Entry lobby, locker rooms, wellness floors (1st floor and basement)
Painting will take place overnight as much as possible and is not expected to disrupt class schedules or member access to the facility. Painters may sometimes need to work during the day or close

Wednesday, October, 22, get ready for a spooktacular time at the Y! Bring the kids in their favorite Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat your way through the building as our staff hand out candy at different stops. We’ve got two chances to join the fun:
- Morning Session: 9:00–11:00 AM
- Afternoon Session: 4:00–6:00 PM

🎃 Halloween at Northwest Family YMCA
Friday, October 10, 6:00 – 7:30 pm, it’s the Floating Pumpkin Patch! Come prepared to get wet and have fun as you find your favorite pumpkin floating in the pool! Decorate the pumpkin after swimming; no pumpkins will be harmed while swimming or afterward (no carving utensils). All proceeds go to Northwest’s Annual Giving

🎃 North Austin YMCA Halloween Spooktacular
Bring the whole family to the Greater Austin Y Spooktacular! Enjoy festive fun with favorites like Fry’s Fun Farm Petting Zoo, bounce houses, carnival games, a spooky maze, and trick-or-treat adventures. Activities may vary by location, but each event is open to the community and designed to be a safe, exciting way to celebrate Halloween together. We’re also a Teal Pumpkin-friendly spot, offering non-food treats so every child can join in the fun.
