Happy New Year! This year commemorates the 70th anniversary of Texas Youth and Government. In January, 1,150 high school students from across Texas will convene in Austin for a three-day State Conference. These students will compete as judges, lawyers, witnesses, legislators, advocates and journalists. This 2017, we ask you to consider a gift of time and invest in the life of a young leader; Volunteer as a Mock Trial Evaluator.
We are in need of volunteers for the YMCA Texas Youth and Government State Conference on Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th, 2017, at the State Capitol, Texas Supreme Court, and Travis County Courthouses.
Volunteer training will be available online in January.
