A community based aquatics program for persons with a variety of abilities and needs.
SNAP (Special Needs Adaptive Programs) helps create opportunities to learn and build self-confidence by giving participants the attention, energy and encouragement they need to succeed. SNAP focuses on fun, fitness and independence in a supportive, non-competitive environment.
SNAP Night Group Class
This Friday evening class is offered in monthly sessions and is designed for participant ages 12 to adult that are comfortable and independent in the water. Classes will focus on different types of water activities, such as fitness, stroke development and socialization with peers and instructors.
TIMES: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
FEE: $50 members per mo. / $100 non-members per mo.
SNAP Aquatics Private Lessons
For individualized instruction, sign up for lessons with one of our swim instructors. Using one-on-one techniques to create a safe and nurturing water experience for the student, the lessons will be formatted to meet individual needs, such as water safety, basic swim skills and general recreational water activity.
Lesson times will be scheduled with the instructor
$20 per lesson for Y Members $40 per lesson for Non-Y Members
