Art that Gives Back to the Bastrop Y!

We are asking all artists to help us in our mission to serve the Bastrop community.

The Bastrop Y is asking for volunteers to create a piece of art that will be auctioned off to raise funds at the Bastrop Art Walk on February 2nd. Your donated art will aid in the effort to serve those in the community who need it most by funding our Annual Campaign.

All supplies will be available, we just need your time and talent.

Y Community Art Day meeting times will be used as our time to create Art Walk pieces on the following days:

The Kindness Rocks Project at the Bastrop YMCA!

Let’s spread positivity in our community! “The Kindness Rocks Project” is an effort to spread good vibes by painting rocks with positive messages for others to find! This project is spreading all over the country - let's aid in the effort at the Bastrop Y!

Here's how it works: paint a positive message on a rock, place it somewhere in town, make someone smile! Use #YKR512 to let us know you found one!

Think this is something your family would enjoy?

Where: Bastrop Y Office at 1112 Main St.

YOU can do a 5K or 10K in 2018!

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Do you want to participate in the 10K or 5K walk or run, but not sure how to take that first step?
