With the start of school, and change of schedules, fall is like a new year for families! It’s a new beginning- the perfect time to start fresh, establish new habits, and refresh dedication to your goals.

Programs for Youth:

TRX Fusion

Ready for a workout that really changes things up? High intensity circuit training alternates with focused control using gravity in this fitness course led by personal trainer Joe Randick. TRX Suspension Training leverages gravity and your own body weight to perform exercises where you control the level of resistance. Outdoor boot camp is an intense circuit of exercises that test your endurance and enhance cardio fitness. Now you don't have to choose between these two awesome workouts! Get both in this four week fusion class.

Tae Kwon Do

Hays YMCA offers a traditional martial arts program that incorporates all techniques of Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that includes blocking, punching, kicking, sparring and form practice. Our curriculum is certified through the United States TKD Grandmasters Society and the American Karate Black Belt Association. All students can expect basic physical conditioning and training in all Taekwondo techniques. Belt ranks are awarded through skills testing with certified instructors. We offer classes for ages 5-99 .

Youth Soccer

Play soccer in the best weather that Texas has to offer this Fall!
Ages 3 to 14 can sign up for teams for their respective age group online or at the welcome center.


No gymnastics experience required to join this class! All children progressing from preschool gymnastics classes must start in Level 1. The gymnast will develop strength, flexibility and coordination all while having a fun experience. They will be introduced to bars, balance beam, floor, and the concept of vault. Cartwheels, handstands, forward/backward rolls are just a few of the skills they will master as they progress through Level 1.

Multiple age group classes available. Start date varies depending on the class but all will begin at the beginning of each month. Sign-up online!

Youth Flag Football

This league is designed to help teach and build fundamental football skills. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in a non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. This is encompassed by the core principles of the YMCA. Teams are coached by volunteers. Teams practice one hour a week (for 6 & up only) and games are played within a one hour period. Practices before the games vary depending on the age group.
