Visit YMCA Camp Moody!
Interested in seeing the Camp Moody property before construction begins? Come for a visit! Camp Moody sits on 85 beautiful acres just 15 miles south of downtown Austin, nestled in a horseshoe bend of Onion Creek. The property is easily accessible from I-35 or central Buda.
Explore Camp by hiking through our forest trails and along the banks of the creek, envisioning the future Camp Moody facilities. You’ll be able to imagine having dinner with your family in the dining hall, flying through the air on the zip lines, sleeping in the bunks, roasting s'mores at the fire ring, and splashing in the pool.
There are two ways to visit Camp Moody:
Guided Tours: Great for groups or those who want to learn more about getting involved with Camp Moody and the capital campaign. You'lll meet a YMCA staff member at Camp who will guide you around the property, telling you about the vision and plans for Camp Moody. Guided tours last approx. 45 minutes. To schedule a guided tour, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Open Camp Days: Come during open hours for a self-guided hike. Simply check in at the gate and start exploring! Dogs are welcome but must be on leash at all times.
Trails are primitive, so please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. All visitors will be required to sign a waiver.
