The Quick Cook - Save TIME in the Kitchen
The goal of The Quick CookTM is to teach basic nutrition and demonstrate cooking and kitchen skills so that individuals and families may prepare healthy, nutritious meals, quickly and easily. The Quick CookTM is 4 weeks, 1.5 hours per class and is interactive; everyone will share and learn from one another. Children 10-15 years may register along with a registered parent.
Seventy-five percent of our health and wellness is nutrition based. The YMCA is pleased to offer The Quick Cook as a way for busy families and individuals to learn basic nutrition, kitchen skills and importantly, how to save time buying groceries and how to prepare healthy, nutritious and great-tasting meals - quickly.

The Quick Cook is a great opportunity to share cooking knowledge with friends and family. It is also a great for families to learn new recipes and for the kids to develop a life-long love of cooking.
