What is YMCA of Austin Rewards?

YMCA of Austin Rewards is a mobile app-based loyalty and reward program designed to reward YMCA of Austin members for engaging in activities at the Y such as working out, setting goals, completing fitness challenges or volunteering.

How do I sign up?

New participants can register by downloading the app from the Apple or Google Play stores. To participate, participants simply click the ‘Register’ navigation and follow the simple instructions. 

If you already have the app, you’ll already see a “Rewards” tile on your home screen. Just click that and follow the instructions.

Who is eligible to participate in Y Rewards?

Anyone who downloads and sets up the YMCA of Austin mobile app can participate.

How does someone register?

New participants can register by downloading the app from the Apple or Google Play stores. To participate, participants simply click the ‘Register’ navigation and follow the step-by-step process.

Does it cost anything to participate?

There is no cost to participate.

How do people earn points?

Participants can earn points through a variety of methods, including logging workouts, signing up for or completing a challenge, setting or achieving a goal, referring a friend for Y membership, volunteering or making a donation. Y Members will also earn points for reaching milestones such as a birthday.

How do members find out if they qualify for a reward?

Points accumulate automatically, and users will need to check the rewards catalogue to determine eligibility.

Just click the “Catalogue” heading and you can select a reward based on the number of points you have earned.

How do people claim their rewards?

Members can click on the on the Rewards tile

  1. Select a Reward that they want
  2. Click the “Claim” button and follow the instructions provided
    1. Members can claim their rewards either in person at the Welcome Center,
    2. Or they will receive a promo code that they can use online or in person.

How are participants’ actions tracked?

Participants’ actions will be tracked through their mobile app.

Will the activities and offers change?

We will be updating the activities and offers on a monthly basis to stimulate participation and engagement among participants and keep interest levels high.

Who will be the contact if someone has a question or problem with the system?

Click your “Profile” icon in the top left of your home screen, then click “Support” and submit your question or service issue.
