American Sign Language for ages 5-12 and 13 and up!
What is American Sign Language?
American Sign Language is a way of communicating by moving the hands with facial expressions and different postures of the body. This is the primary language used by those who are hard of hearing or deaf.
In this six week course, participants will learn: the alphabet, numbers 1-9, common phrases, grammar, the history of sign language, deaf education and more! Learning a new language is fun and educational at any age - let the Bastrop YMCA get you started!
