TownLake YMCA, AMP Studio

The TownLake YMCA is proud to partner with Cole Stepro from Out Fox Fitness to bring this specialty fitness class to the Y for teens & adults on the autism spectrum.

Participants will be taken through a variety of different physical activities and exercises for an hour in a small-group, supportive, encouraging environment.

About the Group:
  • FREE and open to Y members and nonmembers
  • For ages 14 and up
  • Meets monthly on the 2nd Saturday of the month
  • Registration is REQUIRED for each class
  • Space is limited to groups of 5-6 participants
  • Snacks will be provided for all those who participate
  • Parent/caregiver is required to stay for first few group routines if participant may have trouble participating for any reason.* Positive reinforcement is encouraged!
  • All willing participants will be taken through different physical activities/exercises for 1 hour

*You are encouraged to email Cole at at with any potential issues. Everyone is welcome, however, a parent/caregiver should attend the first few sessions until instructional control has been established and rapport has been built with the attendee if participant can’t participate independently.  The parent/caregiver is not required to take part in the exercise group, but should stay for the first few sessions!


How to Participate:

You must RSVP for each event in order to participate. RSVP opens for the next event after the previous event ends. After you RSVP, Cole (the instructor) will contact you to confirm and let you know if there is a waitlist.

If you RSVP and then cannot attend, please contact Cole at with 24 hours’ notice so we can give your spot to waitlisted individuals.


About the Instructor, Cole:

Cole has been offering Autism Fitness Training Services for adults in the Austin area for a year. She has certifications that allow her to work with individuals with autism including; Autism Fitness® certification training, ABA experience, and corrective physical training. Cole is familiar with the gross and fine motor coordination challenges that some individuals with autism experience, and will incorporate that knowledge into exercise and fitness as needed. It is Cole’s objective to not only provide an excellent resource for individuals and families, but also to make exercise an enjoyable thing that individuals with autism can look forward to doing!
