COVID Risk-Based Guidelines

Austin is currently in Stage 3 of COVID safety risk, with a move to Stage 2 imminent. The YMCA continues to abide by state regulations in our centers. Members who are vaccinated may choose not to wear masks. Those who are unvaccinated are encouraged to wear masks. Our most up-to-date policies are on our blog.

No Reservations Required for Lap Swim

To ensure we’re serving all our members, reservations are no longer required to swim laps at all of our YMCA pools except Springs Family Y and YMCA Camp Moody.

Reservations are still in place at Camp Moody because we share the pool with swim teams from local schools.

Wrapping Up Another Great Season of Project S.A.F.E.

Have you seen groups of young children in our pools during the weekday and wondered why they’re here and what they’re doing? They’re participating in Project S.A.F.E., a water safety and swim education program in partnership with Colin’s Hope. Thank you for your patience as we utilize our pools to deliver this impactful program to area schoolchildren. Learn more here.
