Give Joy, Hope, Health & More This Season

As a member of the YMCA, you know that you are part of a dedicated community invested in health for all: spirit, mind and body.

In this festive season, generosity takes many forms. It’s in the way you welcome new faces to our shared fitness spaces. It’s alive in the encouragement you offer when you see someone working hard to achieve their goals.

When you visit the YMCA this month, you’ll see ornaments displayed in the lobby with opportunities to positively impact your YMCA community. Give hope & joy this season by providing art supplies for a child, by keeping seniors healthy & connected, or by creating safe spaces for youngsters to learn and grow.

We asked YMCA staff to recommend their favorite books to give as gifts to expand your thinking this year. Here are their top picks.

And if you’re inspired by the Y’s mission to strengthen communities and promote healthy living, you can give the gift of health with a YMCA gift certificate good for membership or programs. Show your friends and family the difference it makes when you’re a member at more than just a gym. Above all, your YMCA community wishes you all the best this holiday season.
