TownLake Youth Programs to be Excited About in 2020
We want to help every family build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance, and become more engaged with the community. One way we do that- through our transformational youth programs!
Here are some great youth programs to be excited about in 2020!
Dance
We’ve got a variety of classes for different ages and skill levels, including Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Tap for ages 3 through 14!
Class days and times vary depending on the style and age of participant.
Spanish & Art
This introductory Spanish class teaches the language to children through games, crafts, and conversation. Activities are age appropriate. Beginner Spanish Lessons include meeting and greeting, colors, numbers and clothing. Along the way, your child will learn useful Spanish action verbs, common everyday expressions, and words for food, playing sports, and much more!
Ages: 6-12
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm
Hang Time
This free program entertains and engages 3 to 5 year olds with art, games, dancing, stories and more; Monday through Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30am. Come and go as needed, your child doesn’t need to stay the whole time.
Prior registration not required, just sign up in Child Watch on the day-of.
Tae Kwon Do
Learn how to use your strength effectively, maintain cardiovascular fitness, improve flexibility and coordination and practice discipline in our Tae Kwon Do program!
Ages: 8 & up
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 8pm
Youth Boxing
Learn the fundamentals of boxing in a supportive and values-driven environment. We will go over self defense, cardio workouts, boxing technique, and respect for oneself and for others.
Ages: 6 to 16
When: Several class times available
Youth Strength Training
Learn the fundamentals of safe and effective strength training and build a foundation for lifelong fitness. Class is designed to strengthen all major muscle groups, learning a variety of different techniques and tools. In this class, safety and proper form are the highest priority!
All fitness levels are welcome.
Ages: 8 to 16
When: Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:20pm
