Adaptive Camps Bring Connection & Fun

Camp In Motion is an adaptive sports camp held at the Southwest Family YMCA each summer. In collaboration with Dell Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Camp In Motion is designed for children with cerebral palsy and other neurological diagnoses.

The YMCA takes pride in being for all, and we strive to serve everyone in our community. Learn more about our adaptive programming and enroll or volunteer!

Reservations are required to use the lap pool Monday-Friday 10AM-2PM.

Reservations are not required outside of those hours for lap swim or for use of the instructional pool. Check MotionVibe for scheduled program times in the lap pool and instructional pool.

Have you heard about our New Kick Start Program? Meet with a trainer to receive a 12 week plan designed for you and your goals. Then follow up once a month for 3 months.

Our specialty fitness classes are back! Aqua Body, TRX/Kettlebell and Outdoor Bootcamp. Sign up today. Classes begin in September.

Please remember to register for group exercise classes and check in when you arrive to class so we can know which classes are filling, and which classes you want the most!

WAVE Drowning Technology Prevention

When WAVE Drowning Detection Systems offered the YMCA an opportunity to pilot their system with campers at YMCA Camp Moody, we said yes! Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for children under age 5 and the second cause through ages 14, and keeping children safe in the water is our top priority.

KVUE stopped by camp last week to learn more about this enhanced safety system. See how this innovative technology is helping keep kids safe this summer!
