Meet the Y: Beth Launius

Here at the YMCA, personal training is about body, mind, and spirit. At Y branches around Central Texas, our members and trainers develop strong relationships that support members' goals. We love spotlighting those relationships and accomplishments.

Meet Beth Launius and her trainer, Tony Vargas. Tony says, "Beth came in looking to get fit for her daughter's wedding, which she was so excited about. Our sessions were extra fun because she shared details of what went into the wedding. Especially how important was to keep up with her daughters. We would get lost in conversation, and before we knew it, our session was over. Beth is a force of positivity!"

Thank you for sharing that, Tony! Here's what Beth had to say:

"Training with Tony has been awesome. I have more energy, am stronger, and it has carried over in my cardio work. My goal was to be more toned and in shape for my daughter’s wedding. It feels like I did that! The YMCA is such a great place to be. Everybody is so warm, friendly, and welcoming. Not intimidating, just a happy place."

Thank you so much, Beth! Congratulations on your strength and determination, and to your daughter on her wedding!
