“It is a very motivating program that helps teach parents that children can learn through play. I was able to learn alongside my child! Thank you for introducing this program to our community.”
The YMCA’s Early Learning Readiness Program provides a stimulating classroom environment for children 2–4yrs to play and learn while developing the physical, verbal, and social skills they’ll need to start school ready to succeed. In an informal setting with multiple play stations, adults will learn more about how children develop and how they can encourage learning and skill building at home.
Benefits include:
- Your child will learn in two different languages (English & Spanish)
- Your child can play with other children
- You can learn more about how to help your child learn
- Enjoy books, games, resoures, and more to get your child ready for school
Thanks to grant funding, the program is offered free of charge to the public and focuses on increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families. New sessions begin this fall. Below is a list of requirements in order to enroll in the program.
