East Communities Y Newsletter: June 2021

newsletter

The YMCA is committed to preventing drowning deaths in children, and as the summer heats up, swim lessons provide the basic skills to stay safe around water.

A generous donor has just provided $6,000 to give 100 kids with swim lessons at the Y. If only 100 Y members donate $60, we’ll match that gift, enabling us to reach 100 more children!

Give the gift of swimming lessons, and you’ll provide a skill that lasts an entire lifetime. Donate today!

Here’s What’s New at East Communities Y in June

The three-week Summer Out Loud family challenge starts July 12. Families are encouraged to challenge themselves to enjoy the outdoors, invent silly games, and spend quality time together.

We’ll participate with Y members across the country to hike, play games, make videos, write songs and focus on quality over quantity. More details about the Summer Out Loud challenge will be on our website later this month.
