YMCA Afterschool All Day Cares

Spring is here, complete with Afterschool All Day Cares in March!

All Day Care is a service we provide as a part of our YMCA Afterschool Care Program. On days where there is a student holiday (no school) due to staff development, we will provide care for registered afterschool participants from 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM

This service does not apply for 2019-2020 Extend-A-Care for Kids afterschool programs.

Children can be dropped off at the designated All Day Care location (listed below) any time after 7:30 AM, and get picked up any time before 6:00 PM. Please remember to present I.D. at pick up for unfamiliar afterschool staff and to sign your child(ren) in and out.

All activities are based on the Y’s character development values and the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your child is enjoying enrichment activities under the watchful eyes of trained YMCA counselors. Afterschool counselors will plan engaging activities, organized games, and outside play time to keep the kids physically and mentally active on their day off from school. Counselors from multiple afterschool sites will come together as a team to cover all day cares.  Two healthy snacks will be provided for children in the morning and the afternoon.

What Should My Child Bring?

Your child(ren) should bring a lunch from home and wear comfortable play clothes (including closed-toe shoes). However, money, electronic devices, toys, and other expensive items should be left at home.

What Will It Cost?

Cost for all day cares is covered by your afterschool monthly fee (exceptions apply for UT Elementary in November and March). To sign up your child(ren) to attend an all day care, speak to the staff at your child(ren)’s afterschool site. A sign-up sheet for all day care will be available on the parent table next to the sign in/out sheet.
