Hays Communities YMCA member Cheyenne Bell recently spoke to a group of donors and volunteers where she spoke about finding the strength to endure pain – to allow it the space it needs to exist while also finding ways to heal.

Greetings! My name is Tyler Wagner, and, starting this February, I’ve taken on the role as the Community Engagement intern for the Y! I’m excited to have the opportunity to meet so many people from so many walks of life and learn along the way.

For this month's Tribeza magazine, local wellness professionals -- including the YMCA's Erin Walter, Community Engagement Director at our TownLake branch -- were asked to reflect on what "wellness" means to them. Not surprisingly, folks gave a range of answers. You can read all of them in the print edition of the magazine or click for the online version.

Hays Communities YMCA board member Amanda Rickman grew up in Kyle and has committed to serving this community of neighbors. She became a Y member back in 2011 just before her wedding, and she joined because her sister was a member and they both wanted a workout partner.
