After much anticipation, TownLake's Deep Water Aqua Cardio is back! Please welcome our newest instructor, Nate B! He is replacing Ali B, who recently retired from teaching. The deep water class (Tu/Th NEW TIME 11am-12pm) has a devoted following, and the Y is very happy to welcome Nate as he takes over the class.

Today was Napoleon “Napo” Griffin’s first day working as a Program Director in the Program Services branch of the YMCA of Austin. This department, located on Red River Street, oversees Y camps, afterschool programs, and more.

With a new season finally here, we wanted to share some autumn-themed crafts that your toddler will love. These festive activities bring fun twists to everyday crafts, and will allow your toddler to embrace fall.

A warm YMCA welcome to our newest personal trainer, Paula "Coach K" Korzeniewski! You may have seen Coach K around Y this summer, when she was interning at the TownLake branch. We are excited to officially welcome her to the team!

“Coach K” has coached soccer and cross country at both the club and varsity level.

Welcome back, Elizabeth Doss! One of our longtime teachers returned to the Y today (Friday 10/19) to introduce her new baby. Members and staff were overjoyed to meet baby Bronwyn, who is about a month old now. Mom, dad, and daughter are doing very well.

The YMCA of Austin is happy to welcome our newest member of the team, Dezmond Nation. Dezmond is a junior at the University of Texas, and he's interning with our Communication and Member Experience departments.

Congratulations to the staff and members of the TownLake YMCA, named 2018 "Best of the Best of Austin" in the Fitness Center/Gym category in the Austin American-Statesman on Sunday, Sept. 30. Check it out if you still have a Sunday paper!
