The YMCA of Austin offers Pilates classes at all 7 Austin-area branches, with certified trainers who are well versed in a variety of Pilates methods. YMCA Pilates trainers are skilled at evaluating clients and designing effective workouts to meet fitness goals in a safe and reliable manner. Pilates is a conditioning program that improves muscle control, flexibility, coordination, strength, and tone. Appropriate for all individuals, regardless of physical condition or age. Mat-based exercises promote good posture, proper breathing and body control.
