Adventure Guides
Children Ages 4-16
YMCA Adventure Guides and Trail Blazers are national YMCA parent/child programs designed for children aged 4-16. Adventure Guides serves ages 5-12; Trail Blazers serves ages 12-16
In both YMCA Adventure Guides and Trail Blazers, the focus is on strengthening parent/child relationships with the parent as a guide in a child's life. Parents lead, direct, supervise, influence, and teach while presenting opportunities for children to explore the world around them. This exciting program offers fun and creative activities, with lots of campouts as well as mini-Indy car racing, bowling, and more.
