Outdoor Pool Hours

Splash Day was a success!!!  We're right around the corner from summer time. 

The outdoor pool hours are:

Mon/Wed/Fri - 4:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m.

Saturday - 11:00 a.m. - 6:50 p.m.
Sunday - 1:00 p.m. - 7:20 p.m.

Memorial Day - 10:00 a.m. - 5:50 p.m.

June 8th - Pool opens daily!!!

Preschool Dance Mini-Camps

Your little dancer will have so much fun learning different styles of dance; ballet, native dances from around the globe, cheerleading and broadway.  Dress up is encouraged!

Bastrop YMCA and Bastrop Opera House Present Theater Camp

Acting is Fun and It's Time to Perform!!!

Bastrop YMCA and The Bastrop Opera House Present: Bastrop YMCA Theater Camp in the month of July.

Registration is now OPEN!

Participants will learn the Art of Story Telling, Timing, Lines, Blocking and Character Development.

This Program will do a production on Friday July 19 at the Bastrop Opera House and it will be free to family of participants.

June Progressive Improv Intensive

Improvisation, or improv, is a form of live theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up in the moment.  Improv is spontaneous and fun – you never know what hat you’ll be wearing! 

Practicing the art of improv  can  be a powerful tool in your academic and theatre life!

Ages:  8-15 years old

YMCA Summer Theatre Camp

Have fun learning about make-up, costume design and improvisation to create your own theatrical character.  You will write and perform your own monologue based on this character development in a Reader’s theatre style performance for family and friends!

Princess Extravaganze - Summer 2013

You are invited to join our magical princess themed mini-camp. This program is four special days filled with royal fun. On the first three days the little princesses will be making art projects, reading stories, playing games and practicing etiquette. The girls will learn to act like a real princess through games and stories.

Princess lore is mainly based on popular fictional characters, but etiquette and examples are taken from real life.

On the last day of our mini-camp the girls will meet a "Real Princess" and take pictures with her.

May 29th - Basketball Gym Closure

The basketball gym will be closed on Wednesday, May 29th, from 9am - 12pm. Don't worry though, noon time pick up basketball will still start promptly at 12pm!
